Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Campari
  • 1.5 oz. red/sweet vermouth
  • 1.5 oz. Prosecco or other bubbly wine
  • 1 orange, for garnish

Instructions

  • If serving on the rocks, add ice to an old-fashioned or rocks glass. If using a champagne flute, skip the ice.
  • Pour the ingredients into the glass in the order shown and stir.
  • If serving on the rocks, garnish with a half-moon orange slice. If serving in a flute, garnish with a 2-3" strip of orange peel.

Notes

Stir together one bottle of Campari, red vermouth (a 750ml bottle to match the other two) and Prosecco to a large pitcher.
Add ice and orange slices to glasses, then pour in the drink.
This would make about 16 drinks.
If your pitcher isn't large enough, start with half a bottle of each and then refill later if necessary.
If using champagne flutes, skip the ice and add 3-4 whole orange slices to the pitcher.
Do not make this ahead of time or the bubbles will lose their effervescence.
